Looking for private tutoring by a fully qualified teacher? Then look no further! At The Daulton Academy every lesson is bespoke; expertly tailored for each individual student and delivered by qualified teachers with over 6 years of classroom experience. 1:1 tutoring by a fully qualified teacher is the most effective way to learn. I have a comprehensive understanding of the National Curriculum and experience teaching a number of year groups. I plan and teach high quality lessons spanning a range of subjects (including Maths, Reading and Writing) and provide coaching for end of key Primary examinations such as the Phonics Screening, 11+ and SATs. My name is Jessica, and I am a Primary school teacher who is currently leading year 3. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and History, an unusual degree that combines my two passions. I have been graded as ‘outstanding’ in all of my lessons and have been curriculum lead in both Reading and History. I am confident with IT, and I prepared the staff in how to effectively use Google Classroom in preparation for the first lockdown. My combination of a confident persona, drive to help others to achieve, and my optimistic, nurturing nature not only makes me a great tutor, but helps my pupils to blossom. In my spare time, I enjoy performing, swimming, yoga and making people laugh. Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status - Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Drama Availability on week day evenings and weekends.
